Hung Liu “Summoning Ghosts” Lecture

Hung Liu is Professor Emerita at Mills College, and MFA Alumna from UC San Diego. Bringing a deeply felt sense of the past to her paintings, prints, and installations, Hung Liu combines ancient and modern motifs from Chinese history to demonstrate her experience of history every day as an active, affecting presence. She will present a lecture, “Summoning Ghosts,” surveying her work, at Warren Lecture Hall 2005, UC San Diego, La Jolla.
