Please click to get your FREE ticket to this meeting below. We are pleased to hold EFA Artists Collective next meeting at the Encinitas Library on Saturday, September 28th from 3 to 5 pm. As discussed at the last meeting we plan to further define our vision and goals for this collective. Here is the full agenda with info about EFA and the Artist Collective.
We are delighted that glass artist Deborrah Henry has agreed to moderate this meeting. here works is currently on view until Sept 9 at the Encintias Civic Center.
We are asking you to bring these things:
One goal for the Artist Collective which you wish to achieve and share with us.
A statement in 25 words or less that states the riskiest thing you have done in your chosen medium. We want to get to know you!
Business cards/postcards to distribute to the connections you make at the meeting
Please feel free to bring fellow artists who might be interested in finding out about our group.
A beverage and/or small appetizer to share.
Mission Statement: Encinitas Friends of the Arts Artists Collective’s mission is to provide a positive force for visual and performing artists to support each other, create community, identify resources, and aid collaboration while giving back to our city.

Agenda:
Introduction: Naimeh Woodward, director of Encinitas Friends of the Art speaking about how the EFA is able to supply PR, express permitting, free rental for meeting and a variety of other services to support the Artist Collective. She will announce a discounted $15 artist membership and will present a list of volunteer opportunities like Facepainting at the upcoming Dia de los Muertos at the end of Oct.
Introduction: Angela Jackson angelajacksonartist@gmail.com speaking on the start of EFA Artist Collective. Announcing that this space is reserved for the Artist Collective on the second Saturday of alternate Month from 3 to 5 pm. Nov 16, Jan 11, March 14, May 9 and July 11. These meetings can be using for networking, artist salons, presentations, panels. Other Project committee will set their own additional meeting times.

Vision Statement/Goal setting/Networking breakout groups: The mission statement is about who we are now. The vision is who we want to become. The goals are how we get to the vision observing the mission at all times. Everyone will be asked to present one major goal for the Artist Collective. We want to choose the most important and manageable goals and make suggestions of projects that might help achieve those goals. Ideally we would prioritize three goals and have ideas for the next three meetings.

Our thanks to the Encinitas Library and Encinitas Art Programs for hosting EFA Artist Collective. We do need to vacate the room by 5 pm so please plan to be there on time at 3 pm to have a chance to network with fellow artists. We look forward to sharing ideas with you.
