Andrea Hammond is an American singer, songwriter, violinist, and bandleader. From exploring her simple roots growing up under Missouri sky to discovering a new life in Los Angeles, sharing personal stories is a staple of her beautiful sound. Comprised of world class and versatile musicians, the band’s heartbeat is a colorful sound mosaic of folk, Americana, jazz, folk, and world music. Band members include Ric Fierabracci (bass, voice), Brian McLaughlin (drums), Gary Fukushima (piano, keyboard) and Robbie Lawson (guitar).
As a violinist, Andrea was recently part of Alphonso Johnson’s record entitled, “Metaphors.” As a studio singer, she was part of Dream Theatre’s latest album, “The Astonishing,” under the direction of David Campbell. Andrea has recorded at Capitol Records with Charlie Paakkari and has collaborated with GRAMMY winners Mark Nilan, John Daversa, Pedro Eustache, and Alphonso Johnson. Andrea has been in opening acts for Wilson Phillips, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The 5th Dimension, Moody Blues and more.
