The Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead Festival is back in Oceanside! This traditional Mexican Holiday dating back thousands of years celebrates and honors the memories of the deceased with colorful displays, face painting and more. This year the free public festival will be more vibrant and exciting than ever before with over 25 altars on display, as well as local traditional dancers and entertainment, a classic car show and a shopping mercado filled with traditional food vendors. All attendees are encouraged to participate in the free interactive chalk cemetery where they can dedicate images, flowers and candles to their lost loved ones.
