About the Event

Please join NCAN, (North County Arts Network), to network with North County Arts professionals, make new artist friends, and reconnect with contacts and colleagues.

Enjoy light refreshments generously supplied by the Museum of Making Music.

NCAN will share some exciting news for upcoming promotions for our community and how you can be involved. Several highly informative presentations will be delivered by:

• Robert Arends, Public Relations Manager. and Jenn Davies Director of Cultural Tourism for the San Diego Tourism Authority, who will be sharing how to list your events to increase audience, how they promote the arts in North County and how to facilitate collaboration.
• Corky Lang, President of the San Diego Professional Tour Guide Association discussing tours that highlight cultural destinations.
• Ernest J. Dronenburg, Jr. – Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk reporting on tax benefits for arts organizations.

This is a chance not only to connect, but you will get free admission during the event to the Museum of Making Music, which is an outstanding resource in North County. At the entrance to our Museum, you will notice the acronym “NAMM.” Those initials stand for the National Association of Music Merchants, the not-for-profit association that serves and strengthens the global music products industry.
