EFA Artist Collective Art Salon: Who wants to be a millionaire artist?

Our first Artist Salon will facilitated by  and held on Saturday, Nov 16 from 2 to 4 at the Encinitas Library. The topics of the salon is about how sales affect creativity. We would like to hear what you have to say about the following points.

How does the sale of your art work affect your artistic and creative production and content of your work?

If you were to make millions of dollars from the sale of your work, how do you imagine that would change your life or work?

If you were to receive an annual Living Wage for your career as an artist, how might that affect you? (For instance, $74,371 was how much money an average person needed to comfortably live in Los Angeles, according to Financeplanneria.com)

Do you use sales as a benchmark of your success and if not, then what other criteria contribute to your definition of success?

There will be a guided meditation at the beginning of the session lead by Lisa to stimulate your imaginations. We invite you to challenge yourself  on this topic if you would like, and share a piece of art expressing your opinions in this way.

As for all our meetings you are invited to bring a snack or drink to share. How about some millionaire shortbread, or some artist inspired  'let them eat cake"?
