Poway OnStage favorites, Back to the Garden (Beatles: Alone/Together, Sounds of the Laurel Canyon) have a talent for creating unique glimpses into the past to celebrate iconic songs and movements in history.
Through Monterey ’67 Revisited, the band pays homage to the “Summer of Love” and the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. This legendary festival introduced a generation of Americans to Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, the Grateful Dead, the Mamas and the Papas, Simon and Garfunkel and other megastars of the ‘60s. Held over three days, the Monterey Pop Festival preceded and provided the inspiration for Woodstock. This concert celebrates a pantheon of ‘60s American musicians and the songs that remain indelible to a generation.
